it's probably cos u think ur cooler than me

Happy easter to you my friend :)

You want to know how to write cool stuff people want to read yah?

But more importantly you want to write stuff which makes...

People.Buy.Your.Stuff

I mentioned the other day how most marketers write middle of the road, carefully worded, politically correct, nothing you've not heard before, scared to offend crap.

Those articles are ten a penny and seconds after you press publish they drift off into cyber space never to be found again.

Believe me, I wrote lots of them. I was actually taught to rehash other peoples articles **shakes head**

You're reading this article for one of two reasons, or maybe both.

1) You're a regular reader of my stuff

or

2) The subject header caught your attention

Unless you've earned your stripes, your stuff will only get read for reason number 2. I was told early in my tinternet career, if I was to master one thing, it should be writing catchy subject lines.

So, how dya go about that?

Well, for me, they pop into my head like, aalllllllll the time. Go listen to your 3 most favouritest songs, I bet you could find 10 from them. The subject line for this article, came from a song on my Ipod when I was out running.

They also throw up article body ideas.

Cool lines you heard on the tele, something you saw on a magazine or paper, these are especially cool as the hardwork is done for you. Magazines sell like crazy because of the headlines on the front page. If you cant use them directly, how can you adapt them to suit?

Article body ideas.

Seriously, these can appear from actual anywhere. An article you saw you totes disagree with. Something that happened in the library or your local super market. A tv program you watched, film you saw, the list goes on.

How I structure.

Once I have my idea, I write it down then list all the important points. At the bottom of the page, write what you want them to do then go to work on tying it altogether with a story.

Marketers tell stories!

Get creative! Break the mould! Be you and dont be a freeekin wussy!

Believe in your own ability.

If your short on ideas, maybe it's time you studied your niche a little harder

I suggest you start here

Here's where to go now

ps, if you tune in tomorrow, my article will nail exactly what I have talked about today, dont miss it!
