As I sit here suckling on my coffee and working on a clients ppc campaign I started to think about how far we have all come in the past 18 months here at Yaghi Labs.

What my homeslice Yaghi has put together with the help of us, well... freekin geniuses :), is nothing short of awesome. The vision, the end result is gonna be like nothing the incestuous home business industry ain't ever saw'd before.

You see, over the past year or so I have truly seen what goes on in the industry. 

It's Fucking Disgusting!

Beginner entrepreneurs come to this industry because some other beginner said something along the lines of...

Hey, it's easy money, stuff sells itself, make $10,000/mo in your pyjammies and you only have to click your mouse 3 times :O

Then comes the incessant pitching of products by the egg-sperts! The egg-sperts that only care about your success and if ya don't buy them you will fail, your penis will drop off and nobody will EVER speak to you again, FACT!

Because you have no fucking business sense what so ever, you think you need these products so you buy them all up...

Now your a certified egg-spert!

Yes, even if you never go through the pile of shyt you just bought! 

A couple years back I given some awesome advice by an egg-spert. He said if you're struggling with something, teach others about the topic and you will struggle no more! Seemed like gold dust at the time but now I have a couple functioning brain cells it's the most idiotic theory ever.

Look dawg, the sooner you work out these stoopid dipshit products do nothing more than line the pockets of the handful of egg-sperts who all promote each others shyt, the sooner you will be on your way to becoming an entrepreneur.

They don't teach you anything and you don't need them! 

What you need is to master something.

A product or service, helps too if you're passionate bout it tiddles.

See, chances are you're running about like a chicken looking for his head, trying to build websites, write articles, do some ppc, work a job, feed some kids, shoot some vidoes, read some self development books find some time to mutter a few words to a spouse or friends who think your wasting your time with a business in the first place, I know how it goes, I been there too.

I found out what tickled my peanuts early on though, ppc, or pay per click marketing, makes me moist!

But I still had to do all the udder stuff I didn't really have time to do or want to do.

I wanted to MASTER ppc. When you master your craft, people will pay great pesos for it. (product or sevice)

So, back to what I was thinking about, I know, sorry, I get excited ;)

My very first attempt at building a ppc campaign.

I got 10 keywords and, well...that was that! I seriously thought there were no more :D ahahahaha

Today, I'm sitting filtering through a list of 9000 keywords for a client, carefully selecting the best keywords I think will perform and attract the correct customers for his business! Googling keywords I don't know the exact meaning of, then turning them into 100,000 keywords ready to get money, all with a beaming smile and the excitement of a dog on your leg :p

That's what happens when you do something you're passionate about, you take PRIDE in your work!

Something the home business industry SERIOUSLY lacks!

So I have this tree in the woods where I workout, my buddy had this thing made, I bought one, it's awesome!

Between sets, as I'm breathing out my ass and trying to stay alive, I found myself looking at the tree and the tree looking at me!

I started to think how similar a tree is to an MLM company.

No, I've not gone mad, bare with me, I explain :p

The trunk is big and strong, stands tall just like the company!

Then you have branches of all different thickness, just like the companies different leaders!

Then there's all the leaves, hundreds, if not thousands of them, floating about in the wind, looking pretty! I think they represent all the distributors.

Now, leaves will never be the tree, same as 'distributors' will never be a 'business'

Leaves are happy to be leaves, you might be happy to be a distributor and that's fine but leaves don't go around shouting about being a tree and telling everybody else they should be a tree too.

Here's my point!

It's profound so pay close attention...

If you cut all the branches and the leaves off the tree, you'd still call it a tree. A pretty lame looking tree, but still, a tree.

However, without the tree, the branches and the leaves are a pile of garden waste!

And just as the branches and leaves depend on the tree, all the distributors depend on the company!

You aren't in control, you don't own anything which means...

YOU DON'T OWN A BUSINESS!

I was thinking the other day (stop laughing, I do it most days also) about where I have most of my ideas, if not ALL of them and I narrowed it down to 3 main places.

It's where I chill out, think about how amazing it is to be alive and ideas just 'pop' into my head!

Shower

Ok so I don't technically think about YOU when I'm in the shower but it's another place where I do alot of thinking, I could literally stand in the shower ALL day!

Runnin/Training/General sculpting of guns :)

It's a great time to zone out and let the ideas flow. Have something at hand to note all your genius down, notes in iPhone or voice recorder. Nothing worse than having your best idea ever and forgetting it by the time you get home

All these 3 idea banks have one thing in common...

Before I touch on a couple important points I want you to understand....

I really don't believe they have an actual business...

Sure, they sell herbalife, agel, the elevation group, blah blah blah but it's just that! 

Something they sell! 

For the most part, distributors or affiliates aren't even doing that, they are just supporters. Might aswell pick a decent football team to follow, atleast they'd get something to cheer about.

If the companies they represent were to vanish, whadda they got left?

Exactly, nothing!

Ok, so...

Why the hell is everybody trying to be an egg-spert? Trying to teach other people that in which they have no freekin idea about themselves?

Remember the money coach with no money, the leads coach with no leads and the life coach with no life :D 

I think this is the #1 hbb problem that stops people making roopeez.

If they do manage to bullshit some poor member of the public into believing them, they will quit soon because they promised something they can't deliver on.

Here's the bit that makes me cringe the most

Because most have no knowledge on what they are promoting they just end up looking stoopid and speaking down to other people. Giving it all the 'I'm so good cos I have a home business and your just a mere employee'

If they pitch the wrong person who has a little education on the subject, well, they're f*&ked. They don't know what to say! Quick, ask someone or spout a Robert Kiyosaki quote to bail ya out!

Surely you noticed the MASSIVE switch a little while back from everyone teaching leads and pesos to them all becoming eggs-perts on the economy! 

Their new shiny generic shitty ass website has a few quotes on it from some economic genius and all of a sudden they know their stuff.

Oh, your not in gold and silver yet? you so dumb!

I'm putting all my money into gold (all $26.43 from your last months commission) because all the wealthy people own silver, You're an idiot if you dont know already, duh!

Even though they only signed up last week they speak like they'd been studying gold ALL their freekin life!

They thought everybody was dumb because you didnt swallow the magic potion they were pitching, even though their an eggs-pert on nutrition

I'm not saying the product they're pitching is shyyyaaat but the way they go about is certainly is!

The home biz market becomes soooo saturated regardless of the company and products they promote because the message is the same,

That my friend is why their home business blows!

Like I said, I studied the T's & C's and they are not strict in the slightest. I had 2 videos taken down. Now, I have shot a ton of YouTube videos over the past few years.

I cancelled my first account though, most videos were shot when I was a newbie, spouting rehashed, stoopid, dipshit gooroo type mutterings and 'attraction marketing' junk...

Well, I cringed when I watched some of them, it had to go :D

Oh yah, the 2 videos, one was a screen capture of my back office as I showed proof of me making $10,000 in a single afternoon, yah, what a billy big head :p

The other one was of a Herbalife leader, some copyright stuff let them close it down I guess. That was a sad day, it made me about $25,000 before it was hauled down :(

Probably $25,000 that shoulda went in his pocket, oopsie!

There was a third one, defo violated copyright, I had the cheeky girls playing in the background of a spoof video I did :p

I found this in YouTubes community guidelines

Everyone hates spam. Don’t create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to increase views. It's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages.

My guess is this is the main one for home biz getting kicked off!

Then there was Facebook, at the same time as I was doing 1000 or so leads a week from their ppc platform, most of my buddies couldn't even get an ad live.

Again, doing something wrong!

Ok, we all know Facebook's ppc is policed by a set of idiots who seem to approve or disapprove ads by whether or not they took part in wild sex acts the night before...

But I hope you notice a recurring theme here?

Or do you still have your head up your ass thinking it's all the major platforms that are in the wrong.

Couple days back, you may remember, I wrote a post about 1 being the most dangerous number, ie, 1 source of income, etc

You may also remember, a couple years back when all those 'ppc renegades' got kicked off (yes me included) hehe

Well...

Today I wanted to clear something up.

We all shouted from the the mountain tops

Google are dickheads

Turns out Google are awesome and it was all the dipshit home business owners that think they are better than everyone else who were the dickheads...

Most of them still are ahahahahaha

Anyway...

Once the dust had settled and they came to terms with Google's decision to end the relationship, I remember them saying how important it was, moving forward, to NEVER rely on one traffic source again.

Now obviously, if you can get leads from multiple sources then great but some of the internets 'ELITE' proved it's easier said than done, they went from $100,000 months to living in their mum's spare room almost overnight!

But how so when they banged on about how they could teach you to make $50,000/month using ONLY FREE methods

Lolz, yah right

They were MASSIVE ppc junkies...

If you plan to make anywhere close to multiple 5 figures you WILL need ppc

no ppc meant no leads meant no sales!

Sorry, I got a little off course there :p

So, as they mumped about how their main source for leads had been pulled from underneath them, they were missing one VITAL thing.

Google wasn't the problem

The dipshit marketers were (yes, me included) :p

For some months after, they tried everything under the sun to get back on, different URL's, different offer, new account...

But they still violated the terms and conditions...

MASSIVELY

And...

When you ran search on Google.com for some home business or MLM type term, almost everytime, atleast half, if not all of the results were my buddies and myself, all promoting the same freekin thing.

Not exactly what Google want for their searchers is it?

The problem here idn't relying on one source for your traffic, it's the fact you have a stooopid home business, which idn't really a business anyway, your a seller for some company :D

To turn yourself insanely profitable, is the goal I have in mind for you, if your willing to put in a little work to set up your online business in a way which the ppc platforms will lurrvve

• optin to your website then reply to your emails, pitching you to death on why you should join their dumbass opportunity. normally starts with.... 'I don't usually do this but' - lolz, yah, whatever dude

• **social media marketers** (like what the fcuk is social media marketing?) private message ya or pop up on chat all like, hey how are you? oh heres my link - fugk off dipshit!

• hoppin on their favourite gooroo's fb status update thread and liking, agreeing with them and making some dipshit comment to a) suck up their ass and b) they think the association to the gooroo is gonna make them hit da big time :p

and last but not least...
 

• (this is an actual message I received on fb ) 'hey ewan, I need to ask for your help. I decided to be more active in on my fan page. If you could help me, please like my fan page link below'..... uhm, just like that huh? go and be freekin awesome and gimme a reason to like your page, then and only then will I think about liking you page.

 So one thing ALL of the above have in common...

And as sad as I am to say it, it's where most of today's marketers are coming from, they simply don't have a clue how to go about it.

best time to get your business started?

Got another question from a subscriber:

"I want to start a business.  I'm just thinking it is going to take me a while to build it due to my circumstances. I have a family, a full time job and a lot of time commitments. Should I wait or do it now?"

I understand this question and wondered this too.

Here's my answer:

First, it may NOT take that long.  Some people have built this business to 6 figures per year working just a few hours per day (and sometimes even less).

But either way, so what if it takes time?

Time's passing anyway.

In fact, as a wise man (well, maybe "wise" is the wrong word, he was actually a villain in a Star Trek movie) said...

"Time is the fire in which we burn"

And it's absolutely true.

Time is like fire.

Our lives are a giant forest, and the second we're born, a fire is set to it.  During our lives we can do things to fan those flames (like by not eating right, taking foolish risks, etc) and burn the forest down faster. 

We can also do things to slow it down, too.

But you can't douse that fire totally.

It ALWAYS burns.

And eventually, ALL our forests burn down.

That's why I don't recommend someone putting off starting a home business until they get their ducks lined up or the timing is right or whatever.

There is no "right" time.

There is only TODAY.

Time is passing whether you're ready or not.  The fire -- fast or slow -- is burning.  Question is, what will YOU do with your time?

Wait to get your ducks lined up?

Or take action and seize your destiny?

It's up to you, my friend.

But historically action takers THRIVE...and duck liners dive.

One of my first home businesses was in MLM.

I don't hate the industry or anything.

But it just idn't for me.

However, I did learn some valuable business lessons while slugging it out trying to sell vitamins, potions and miracle tonics to my friends, family and people who either weren't friends or family. 

And I'm going to reveal one of those lessons in this email.

Here's the story:

Back when I was in that business, they introduced DVD's to recruit.

In other words, they did not want you trying to explain the business and comp plan and products to anyone yourself.  They (wisely) realised that a person (especially someone new to the business) would not be able to do it very well, and it is far better to have a "duplicable" way to do it.

Thus the DVD.

Instead of you explaining anything, the DVD did it. You simply loaded it into your DVD player and pushed play.

However, there was a problem with this. A problem the MLM industry STILL has.

What happens after the DVD stops?

How do you answer someone's questions?

What if the DVD didn't cover all the objections (these DVD's rarely ever covered all the objections, especially in under 30 minutes).

And what if someone asked "how much are YOU making?"

Ugh.

I hated getting those questions.

I remember a lot of people squirming and sweating when asked questions like that.  I know I squirmed and sweated!  Some people even got so flustered, they'd start lying about their bonus cheque size (never a good thing!).

Anyway, it was a terrible time for me.

But a GREAT learning experience.

There's a whole host of other awkward questions too when you sell a biz pop

The answer is simple, and profitable. 

Sell PRODUCTS!

A service is a great idea too

Products and service's which are unique, in demand, and pay you good peso's. 

Guess what else...

When you set up your business this way, you can market the crap out of it on the ppc platforms, yes you heard me.

PPC platforms.

Can't do that when you're selling the chance to make money to people who have to sell the chance to make money to people who want to sell the chance to make money to other people :D
