I asked a buddy of mine a question the other day. She's a ViSalus rep. I wanted to know how ViSalus compared to the nutritional products of Herbalife.
I asked the question on one of her Facebook updates and I knew somebody was gonna put on their scarf and jump on the 'my company is better than your company' wagon.
Sure enough, within about 5 minutes some ViSalus supporter had replied with...
ViSalus beats the pants off of Herbalife. LITERALLY!
Firstly I don't care about their pants and secondly, how many potential customers are dumbass MLM'ers putting off by saying such stupid things.
It's unprofessional.
In a cold market, especially with nutrition. You need to come across as a professional.
You should know your product inside out, find exactly what pain your client is suffering form and pair it up with a benefit.
There you go, a match made in heaven, like Romeo and Juliet :D
Most MLM'ers make zero money because they are not running a business, they are simply supporters.
Same as people support football and shout about how good their team is.
Get off the dumb biz pop train, shouting about how you teach people to live their dream life from home.
Find a product your passionate about which fits into your 'unique angle', find a market looking for it and give them what they are looking for all day long.
