about your mlm *ahem* business

So I have this tree in the woods where I workout, my buddy had this thing made, I bought one, it's awesome!

Between sets, as I'm breathing out my ass and trying to stay alive, I found myself looking at the tree and the tree looking at me!

I started to think how similar a tree is to an MLM company.

No, I've not gone mad, bare with me, I explain :p

The trunk is big and strong, stands tall just like the company!

Then you have branches of all different thickness, just like the companies different leaders!

Then there's all the leaves, hundreds, if not thousands of them, floating about in the wind, looking pretty! I think they represent all the distributors.

Now, leaves will never be the tree, same as 'distributors' will never be a 'business'

Leaves are happy to be leaves, you might be happy to be a distributor and that's fine but leaves don't go around shouting about being a tree and telling everybody else they should be a tree too.

Here's my point!

It's profound so pay close attention...

If you cut all the branches and the leaves off the tree, you'd still call it a tree. A pretty lame looking tree, but still, a tree.

However, without the tree, the branches and the leaves are a pile of garden waste!

And just as the branches and leaves depend on the tree, all the distributors depend on the company!

You aren't in control, you don't own anything which means...

YOU DON'T OWN A BUSINESS!
